Moving North from Lisbon, its time for culture and Port sampling. I’ve become accustomed to top quality hostels and now it seems I’ve moved to a Palace! The centrally located Andarilho Oporto Hostel is a big, charming, old house with completely new interior. It has spacious, well-lit rooms, comfy beds, ensuite bathrooms and safes. Also a kitchen, breakfast, lounge room, free internet + WiFi, laundry service and are open 24 hrs! What else could you ask for! Plus it has such a cozy, friendly atmosphere; I already met some people while relaxing in their huge beautiful garden. We considered using the BBQ but instead are going to try out the close-by riverside bars and cafes. Then tomorrow we’ll tour the wine cellars.
